Lyle Hamre
Mr. Hamre is a principal of PLC Fire Safety Solutions where he currently serves in the role of Senior Technical Specialist. He received a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a registered Professional Engineer in three Canadian provinces. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Hamre has been involved in the application of codes and standards for the fire and life safety of buildings and industrial facilities. In the past 20 years, his activities have also included fire assessments of nuclear facilities. Mr. Hamre is a member of Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes’ Standing Committee on Use and Egress and the Underwriters’ Laboratories of Canada Committee on Fire Tests.
