PLC - Pacific Basin Nuclear Conference

The Canadian Nuclear Society, the Canadian Nuclear Association, and Natural Resources Canada, in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency, hosted the 19th Pacific Basin Nuclear Conference (PBNC-2014), in Vancouver, Canada. 

PLC technical staff were pleased to share their fire safety experiences by presenting four papers at the conference:

  •   Barrier Evaluations for Fire Protection Assessments at Nuclear Power Plants
  •   Fire Protection for Electrical Cable Trays 
  •   Engineering Judgement and Bridging the Fire Safety Gap in Existing Nuclear Facilities
  •   Use of Fire Hazard Assessment to Cost-Effectively Manage Facility Modification
