The conference provided a forum for the nuclear fire protection and emergency preparedness groups to communicate on challenges presently impacting the nuclear industry and share lessons learned from reviews, drills, and major exercises. 

Participants from France, Germany, Holland, USA and Canada spent two days attended the conference, which was hosted by the Canadian Nuclear Society and sponsored by Bruce Power, PLC Fire Safety Solutions, Ontario Power Generation, and Victaulic.
